About the Artist

Victoria Scrivener-Anderson, BA (hons) MFA, is an artist living and working in Fife, Scotland.

She trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, University of Dundee.

Victoria's work concentrates on botanical portraiture. She paints flowers grown in her own garden and surrounding countryside and is particularly concerned in the beauty of imperfection and time. The Scottish light and colours are very important in the works.

Many of Victoria's paintings are large scale with intense detail.

Victoria paints almost exclusively in acrylics on fine canvas and canvas sizes range from 20cm to well over 1m.

Victoria has exhibited throughout Scotland and has work in collections both private and public. Currently, her work can be seen at Maisie & Mac. She exibits with Open Studios Fife and her work is on permanent exhibition at Glendoick Garden Centre Restaurant.

Victoria accepts commissions to paint particular favourite flowers. She paints bridal bouquets as a unique and special wedding gift. Please contact the artist for details.
